The Dania Beach Grill was a long standing staple of the community serving up food, drinks, and live music up until it’s closure in April of 2019. Since then the city owned lot has sat vacant awaiting revitalization.
Earlier this year, the city of Dania Beach opened up for long term development proposals and received six unique letters of intent from restaurant groups across the country.
Prakas & Co is proud to announce that our client Lou Moshakis from LM Restaurants has been awarded the bid for negotiating the long term development rights for the space. LM Restaurants plans to redevelop the historic property into their famous Lucky Fish concept.
Lucky Fish is an open air restaurant that sits at the entrance to the Pompano Pier and boasts live music in a tiki bar setting. They serve up beach grub and cocktails just steps from the beach. Their menu features local favorites like the Hooked Up Mahi Mahi Tacos and Lucky’s Signature Rum Punch.
Prakas & Co broker and 30 year veteran of the hospitality sector Athan “Tom” Prakas said “LM Restaurants are world class operators and will make the perfect fit for this property because of their proven track record running exciting beach driven concepts. I look forward to continuing to work with Lou and his team to bring this project to Dania Beach.” On behalf of the entire Prakas & Co team, we wish LM Restaurants the best of luck in Dania Beach as well as in their 31 existing restaurants across the east coast.
